I found this flowy blue skirt in a charity shop years ago but noticed that it had been sitting in my wardrobe unworn and lonely for a long time. It was just too plain and boring!
On another charity shopping tour, I miraculously stumbled upon a pair of suspenders in a matching tone of blue. There you go! I quickly hand sewed some buttons onto the skirt – and am now the proud owner of an all new piece of clothing with a 1940s flair to boot.
